I first heard of Geocaching when I was
living in South
Florida. However, I never participated in hunt while I lived
there for eight months. In April of 2002, I found my first
geocache in Germantown, Maryland. My second came just a weekend
later in Rockville, MD. Now I'm fully hooked on this fun filled

map looked like when I started in 2002.

caches through this region. There is approx. 3600 in
Maryland at the start of 2010 . Way more than the original 75+/-
back in
2002.
