Log:
Sitting at home getting ready for the Storm Chase Expedition 2004 in the Great Plains, I was caught off-guard for the beginning of this one.  It turned out fine however, with fair good lightning shots and video.

11:10pm:  Heard the first claps of thunder.  Rushed over to the laptop, refreshed the radar image.  New cells forming just over the Potomac, heading east-northeast.

11:15pm:  In the truck with minimal gear and off and running

11:20pm:  Stopped at nearby Park, shot some video

11:25pm:  Departed Park location headed eastwardly

11:35pm: Stopped on Fieldcrest Road, just after traffic light at Rt. 124.  Shot some video

11:45pm:  Departed Fieldcrest location, headed east on Fieldcrest, left (north) on rt.108, right on Sundown Road.

12:00pm:  Stopped somewere north and east of the Montgomery County line in Howard County.  Shot video and some digital stills.
