Chevrolet S-10 Xtreme and the GMC S-15 Pick-up

For this page I choose to highlight both vehicles because they are essentially the same kit from AMT, but just slightly modified for the specific designs.

First the GMC since I did this model first.  Complete around 1995,  the GMC was a kit that came with two variations.  First, you could build it stock, which on the 1994 GMC Sonoma is really nice.  Second, you can add a ground affects kit with custom front grill.  Only thing is that front end looked more like the later version of the Chevrolet. 

Second we see the Chevrolet S-10 Xtreme edition.  This kit I just built (2004), and it was only came as the Xtreme.  I wanted to make this model because I also drove and 1999 Chrevolet S-10 Xtreme.  Mine was different than the model in  a few ways.  My truck was inferno red and was sportside bed.  The model I painted silver and had the fleetside bed.  The rims on the model are painted black in the center versus my truck was machined silver.  Also, the front of the model is of the earlier front grill design....aka the "Seeker" look.  Actually production Xtremes sported painted grill of the 98 - 04 design.  It's funny that the GMC model has a closer look to the actual grill than does the Xtreme model.

I've placed the models side by side and also include one picture of my truck for comparison.
